CNC machinist salaries can vary greatly depending on the job role, employer, location, experience, and level of responsibility. An operator who loads parts and monitors an established production cycle will generally earn less than a machinist who performs setups, interprets blueprints, adjusts offsets, inspects finished parts, and troubleshoots machining problems.
